The Economic Crisis Response Team (ECRT) provides support and guidance to students who have self-identified, or are identified by UCLA faculty or staff, as experiencing a financial crisis that impacts their academic success at UCLA. Students may have access to university-owned housing for up to 14 days.
For information on ECRT resources such as meal vouchers, emergency housing and other financial crisis support or to contact the Economic Crisis Response Team (ECRT) directly, please visit their ECRT website or email: ecr@saonet.ucla.edu. Students are also able to fill out the ECR Self-Assessment Form on MyUCLA to describe their current circumstances and needs.
The ECR Self-Assessment Form requests description of the crisis, financial information, and additional information regarding the student's current situation.
All ECRT referrals are reviewed in partnership with the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office. If you have not yet explored all of your financial aid options (including loans), you may not be eligible for ECRT grant or meal support. Please contact the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office before submitting an ECRT form.
